Pet care experience
I've had numerous types of pets all my life. I've mostly looked after cats and dogs but I've also had pets such as rabbits, fish, hamsters, parrots and even ferrets. I also have a level 2 animal care diploma where I studied and cared for almost every type of animal, I've worked in a zoo, a veterinary surgery and a kennels/cattery. I'm currently unemployed as I am hoping to start up my own business by the end of the year but for now I am looking to do something I enjoy for just a little extra cash. I have 2 cats in my home already who go outside and inside when they please. We don't have a cat flap, we normally have back door open for them. We have a fenced off garden and I have stair gates throughout the house.

Jessica was great with our Jack Russell Terrier - although she had her work cut out as it was Bonfire Night and there were fireworks everywhere, which wasn't great!

Having none of our normal dog sitters available we found Jessica listed on Rover. Jessica and her partner had our 2 year old Pug for a day and a half with him staying at their home overnight. They took excellent care of him, when we collected him he was very happy in their home, they had even moved a footstool close to the window so he could watch cars ans people going past, something he would have loved! They also uploaded lots of photos whilst they had him for us to see which was really appreciated. We’d certainly recommend Jessica as a dog sitter and we would happily use her again.

A typical day
I have a long, fenced in garden with grass for dogs to run around and play on. I will take them on regular walks and play fetch or other games with them. I have a long scenic walking route behind my house which is perfect for walking the dogs. I also have a dog paddling pool if your dogs like water.
