I’ve helped care for various pets my entire life, including small caged animals like hamsters and gerbils, as well as birds, cats, and dogs. I have personal experience (no certifications) in training and grooming my pets, as well as administering medication.

For me, safety starts with having a discussion with each owner about the personality of the pet(s). It is important to understand what they do and do not like, and what traits I should be aware of to maintain the safety of the pet and myself. It’s also important to keep a pet leashed at all times during walks because even if a pet is well-behaved, we could encounter a other pets on walks that are not safe.

A typical day
Every dog is different. Some love playing with toys, while others don’t even care about toys and prefer to go on walks or just get a belly rub.
