I have had pets since I was 3 years old and dogs specifically between the ages of 3 and 17. I have helped with the neighbor's dog before and love seeing pets on walks around the neighborhood. My own dogs lived very happy lives to their absolute fullest, even when mobility became difficult due to old age. I have looked after my friend's dogs before who are very energetic as well.

My current pets live in their own worlds of comfort, with plenty of interaction and personal feeding dishes for each. When I still had dogs in my care, I would personally wake up before the rest of my household to feed them and would take them for walks around mid morning before the sun got too hot or late evening when the sun started to cool off.

I have plenty of time on my hands during the afternoons as my current routine takes up most of my mornings, so I will have plenty of time to walk a lap or two (or three!) Around the blocks with your beloved friend based on their energy level.
