Animal-Loving Pharmacist
Pet care experience
I am a full-time pharmacist who’d love to do some part-time animal caring apart from my own animals. I own a bunny (2 years old), German shepherd (8 years old), and two cats (11 years old). I have had pets my whole life, and my love for animals has turned me vegetarian 11 years ago. *Bonus* I also have experience with a diabetic, partly blind senior Yorkie who I took care of about 3 months over the past summer and continue to care for once in a while as she is my boyfriend’s dog. I am comfortable walking and caring for pets all sizes, as well as giving insulin injections. Since I never worked towards my childhood dream of becoming veterinarian, I’d like incorporate some part-time animal care in my current life as a healthcare professional.

I am very accommodating, and I understand the importance of specific routines as we had that for our diabetic Yorkie before she passed. It really is important to follow the routine especially as they get older. They deserve to live a comfortable senior life!
A typical day
I love taking my dog on walks on the near by trails, and allowing him to get his sniffs in for stimulation. I also have a handful of puzzle toys.

Availability
I work full time, but long shifts which allows me to have more days off during the week and every other weekend. I also have a very flexible partner who loves animals as much as I do, so my dog doesn’t have many days that he’s alone.
