Pet care experience
My husband and I have both had family pets of all varieties our whole lives (dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, horses, even a household rat!) and we have had our 2 shih tzus together now for 8 years and are looking to dogsit for your fur baby! We love all dogs and are experienced with puppies, senior pets, and some special needs (intravenous and oral/ear/eye medications) We also have experience with dogs with disabilities (deaf, immobile)

We needed to find a dog sitter for our 3-yr-old Schnoodle for the first time on Maui. Sachi spent 3 nights with Jessica and Andrew and she quickly became a part of their family. Jessica was very diligent on keeping us posted with pictures and updates on Sachi's adjustment to her new environment. We were very pleased with the excellent care she was given while we were away. We will definitely leave Sachi with them again without hesitation. Thank you Jessica and Andrew for taking excellent care of Sachi and loving her as much as we do!

I cannot say enough good things about Jess and Andrew! They have watched my little Frenchie (Fin) numerous times and I feel so comfortable leaving my little ham with them! Both Jess and Andrew have had dogs most of their life and know how to take care of them so well! Often times I see my little Fin favor Jess more, and sometimes I even think she loves Jess more than me! When I leave Fin with Jess I know she will be loved and well taken care of! They’re truly the best and I would not trust anyone else to watch her!

Our yard is mostly fenced in but not fully enclosed so we will go outside on leashes, but it’s nice and lush and private, and we live on a cul-de-sac so there is very little traffic/other dogs walking by to be a distraction. We are avid dog walkers - I always take our guests for 2-3 walks everyday, and look forward to walking your fur baby while you're away or in need of dog walking.

We have 2 Shih Tzus, they are both neutered males 9 years old so they are pretty chill and just love to cuddle and be in the same room as us snoozing and taking lots of naps! They get along great with other dogs in our home, and after the initial excitement of a new housemate, they pretty much do their own thing
A typical day
A typical day is up early (7am) with breakfast and potty breaks, followed by coffee and tv cuddle on the couch time. I work from home (we have dog beds all over the house including in my office but the house is free rein) then a light morning walk. Sometimes we go for a car ride for fun, and we also live walking distance to the dog park, if you’re comfortable with those activites for your pup. Later we take a more brisk afternoon walk usually followed by naps for all. Dinner and a light evening walk and/or outside time before cuddles and bedtime. I will always take them for 2-3 walks every day if they are up for it! We live on a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood with sidewalks and minimal traffic so it’s quite safe for your pooch to get some exercise!

I work from home so I am available 24/7 to care for your pup when you need a dog nanny! The Rover community has helped us many times with our dogsitting needs, so we want to help others with their pet care too!
