We have taken care of and raised dogs of different breeds and temperaments--Newfoundlands and Great Danes and Pointers and Lagotti, and are comfortable with all sizes. We have trained them all and are currently training our Lagotto to become a therapy dog. We love caring for friends', neighbors' and all others' doggies and making them a part of our family. We like to help in a pinch or when someone is going on vacation and wants to know their beloved pet will be looked after. It is part of being a dog-owner for us to help others in ways we have received! We make sure to take hour-long walks (on/off-leash) with our dog on our 40-acre property or on local trails and love when he has company. We are comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, and medication administration. Both my partner and I work from home, so we will be around all day except for occasional appointments and meetings--we are comfortable with the doings being with us throughout the day We have a fenced, 40-acre farm and live in a converted portion of the barn. We allow dogs on the furniture (unless you don't want us to!!)  and are happy to have them sleep crated or un-crated. We have a pond for doggie swimming and always go out with the dogs, on or off leash. Our dog Tensleep loves (LOVES) cuddles and we have the most fun when we can cuddle with other dogs, too. When dogs are with us we treat them like our own and feel sad when they go back home. We have a wonderful vet just up the road in case your doggie needs extra attention while he/she stays with us. We work from home and like to take a few longer walks with dogs each day. We never leave dogs alone for more than 2 hours. We have a fenced yard but take all visiting dogs on on-leashed walks. The dogs follow us into whichever rooms we're in, for the most part.
