R+ Pet Care
Pet care experience
Greetings! I am Jess - a dedicated dog handler and walker. I initially got into working with dogs to learn the necessary knowledge in order to understand dog behavior and learn from past mistakes. I have experience working different roles in the dog industry for the past several years, but most of my experience is based around hands on work, leading off leash packs, the walker course through dogtec, and one on one sessions with positive reinforcement based trainers. I enjoy actively incorporating (R+) positive reinforcement methods when working on certain 'behavioral' issues such as dog reactivity or shy dogs who need extra TLC when meeting new handlers. Taking care of dogs and being able to receive their pure love has been fulfilling and therapeutic. I am a patient, communicative, reliable, and caring individual. I enjoy giving companions unconditional love, while caring for them as if they were my own. Practicing poses with beloved furry friends is one of my favorite pastimes!
Reviews
Jessica always does a fantastic job with my special needs senior dog. She’s an excellent communicator and takes great care of my apartment. Highly recommend her!
We adore having Jess watch our dog! She’s professional, communicative and all around wonderful. We have booked her for two previous trips and have one upcoming trip.
Jessica is caring, attentive and communicative. Our dog is an elderly, socially awkward sheltie, and Jessica handled his quirks with ease and kindness. 10/10 would book again
It’s clear Jessica cares deeply for animals. She took great care of our dog while away!

Safety, trust & environment
I strive to bring clients and furry family members a pawsitive experience while working independently. I would love for you to have a peace of mind while you are away. Overall, I make sure I provide a successful and comfortable experience for you and your companion. I love sending photo or video updates throughout the day. I follow through with clients protocols in their home. I am mindful of your home being your sanctuary, so I do my best to leave your home as you left it or better.
Information Jessica G. would like to know about your pet
Meet and greets in person are preferred to discuss further details and questions I may have. Please let me know in advance if your companion has separation anxiety, allergies, reactive behavior - (indoor or outdoor), triggers, and energy level.
A typical day
House sitting: Dog enrichment activities are a must! I like to keep your companion mentally stimulated, whether it is outdoor or indoor play. Activities can consist of basic obedience training, playing 'find it', recall practice, puzzle toys, or a game of tug of war. While dog walking - I enjoy giving them praises, affection, high value treats, and belly rubs! I personally do not like trying to correct a certain behavior or mistake by telling them 'no.' I prefer to use 'oops.' Safety comes first, so walks are on foot, on leash, and in your neighborhood.
