Pet care experience
I have owned and taken care of pets (mainly dogs) since I was 10 years old. I am very comfortable with all kinds of dogs and have been a babysitter for many of my friends (cats and dogs). I helped raise my childhood dog up to his last days at 14 💕As an adult I have raised my almost four-year-old Australian Shepherd. I have experience with puppy school and working with trainers. Friends and colleagues who are new dog owners typically come to me for advice on socialization, training, and new dog parent tips. I simply adore dogs and all animals. I spend every afternoon taking my dog to the dog park and on walks. My dog Scout is very good with other dogs (even kids and babies too😍 which I’m proud of)! She is well behaved and loves to have a buddy to play with.

I would trust Jessica with my animal care needs 10/10 times. Jessica and her husband John have taken care of my Willow (large white German Shepherd) countless times and they truly treat all dogs under their care like their own children! Your dog will never want for love and attention—endless cuddles, premium snacks, and lots of playtime indoors and outdoors. If you are comfortable letting your dogs off leash, Jessica lives just steps from Alamo Square and Jessica’s Scout (medium Australian shepherd) will be sure to join your pup on a huge park run!
This was our second time leaving our dog Mole with a rover sitter. We are skeptical leaving him with people we don’t know, however, Jessica was kind enough to take him last minute. Jessica was super friendly and responsive. They updated us constantly with photos of Mole playing and resting. Mole came home so happy and tired. We will definitely be reaching out to Jessica again for future pet sits. If you like being notified about your dog, Jessica is the person! Received so many photos of him playing.
Jessica has helped care for my dog several times while I've had to travel and makes sure that Emmy is well fed, well-exercised and safe. She's had dogs of her own so she has plenty of experience in caring for four legged friends. I highly recommend her as a pet caregiver.
Jessica is one of the most dog-loving people I have ever met. She is the dog whisperer that all the dogs run toward at the park :) She has tons of experience with different types of dogs. I feel most comfortable when I leave my dog with her. Super communicative. You will receive cute pictures and videos :)

I’m very cognizant of every dog having specific needs and I’d like to get to know you and your dog’s needs a little more specifically. That being said in general I start by making sure my house is doggy proofed and there are no toxic or dangerous items that could potentially cause harm to the dog. I’m very in tune in to be in the same room as the dog and making sure your dog and my dog are getting along throughout my workday I typically am flexible and can let them in and out to play while again making sure they are supervised at all times.

A typical day
I work from home and can take the dogs on walk breaks, to the park with permission, to play in my yard and in the house. I have plenty of toys and space where my dog and yours can play and relax.
