I have loved Kallie, a chocolate lab, for 7 years. She is not a puppy anymore but she can still move quickly when she wants to. I'm so grateful she is past the "chewing everything" stage! You know what they say? A tired dog is a good dog. It takes Kallie 5 km a day to turn into a good dog. I have found that sunshine, exercise and fresh air are good for me. No kidding right? A solid walk burns off my endorphins, melts my stress away, and gives me time to mindfully observe the world, the weather, the changes in the neighborhood. I have a medical background, so administering medications is well within my comfort level. But here's the question - who is exercising who? Am I exercising your dog, or is your dog exercising me? It's a symbiotic relationship...
