Pet care experience
I’ve been pet-sitting for friends since 2018 and have loved dogs all my life. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes — I grew up with a giant Rhodesian Ridgeback and now have a small <20 lb dog. Since having my own high-energy pup, I’ve learned that safe, enriching experiences and lots of love and attention are the most important thing to keeping a dog happy. I have extensive experience training my own dog and love all dogs, no matter their quirks. As a bonus, I work with dogs and have experience running dog photoshoots. I take lots of quality pictures of the pups I care for and will send them your way!

Jessica is a great sitter! Pesto had a blast hanging with her, as evidenced by the great photos she sent. Pesto got a small injury while playing too hard at the dog park (not at all Jessica’s fault!), and she was great at taking care of him and keeping me up to date on how he was doing. Would definitely book with her again!
Jessica was great and so easy to work with. I had a last minute trip and she responded quickly to set up a meet and great. I had a friend watching Harper for a few days, and Jessica coordinated the transfer logistics with them. And she sent me great updates with photos! I definitely plan to book with Jessica again.

I take my active dog on excursions to City Park, dog parks, and, of course, walks around the neighborhood. We hike when the weather beckons. On rainy days, we play nose games to stimulate the brain and the nose! She knows 50+ cues and tricks. We also train in agility and make games out of that as well. Let me know if your dog’s coat needs any brushing. I can also brush their teeth, if that’s part of their routine. We’re an active household, but that doesn’t mean we only take active dogs. I’ll meet your dog where they’re at to give them the best away from home experience possible.

If you’d like, I can help your pup brush up on any cues or tricks you’re working on at home. Also, please notify me about any allergies or dietary restrictions. I’ll always ask before, if I want to share a special snack with your dog — like yogurt or peanut butter-filled kongs!
A typical day
We explore, play enrichment games, and spend quality time and attention together. Nose games, training games, or puzzles are all activities I offer. Time with me will feel like day camp, and they’ll come home a tired and happy pup. In the summer, we can go on hikes or other excursions — let me know!

Availability
I work from home M-F and have built-in time for long walks in the morning, a short walk at lunchtime, and long walks or hiking excursions in the evenings and weekends. My weekends are basically 100% for dogs. I live with my partner, who also works from home M-F. He loves dogs too and is a calm, cuddle magnet to all pups.
