Pet care experience
Hi! I have experience working with high-energy dogs, anxious dogs, special needs dogs (including Deaf), and puppies. I’ve worked with behavior specialists to learn techniques for improving leash-training, decreasing food and fear-based aggression, increasing sociability, and teaching sign language commands. I’ve cared for and trained many foster puppies and adult dogs through working with local humane societies. I also have experience with potty training and crate training puppies. I'd love to work with you and your dog!

I have a fenced-in yard, and I live in an area with good sidewalks for walking and can play with your dog(s) in my home, especially since I’m home so much of the day. I also have an empty room that your dog(s) can be in if I’m gone at any point, preferably crated. I do have one dog, but since she can get anxious about meeting new dogs, she and your dog(s) will remain securely in separate parts of the house and not interact. I am very happy to play with and/or walk your dog(s) in your home/neighborhood as well!

A typical day
I can provide fun and mentally stimulating experiences for your dog, including fetch, hide-and-seek with a toy, puzzle toys, training games, and etcetera. I live in an area with good sidewalks and can take your dog for long walks or runs.

I’m currently a full-time student with a fairly flexible schedule, including times in the daytime, mornings and evenings, and on weekends. I’m home most of the day, except when I have class or other obligations, so my schedule should work with yours!
