I am a full time veterinary technician and have lots of experience with all animals! We have a busy household with 3 dogs, 3 cats, and 4 horses- and 3 sons (ages- 4, 12, & 15- and the older ones are excellent help!). My husband is retired military and is mostly a stay at home Dad, so one of us is home a lot of the time! Our yard is partially fenced and we have over 5 acres, but our babies usually like to hang out inside with us or out on our porch most of the time (2 are oldies and are lazy!). We do 2 feedings so food is never left out but can accommodate most schedules. I am able to give meds as needed, can do things like minor bandage changes, and thanks to my career am familiar with things like seizure dogs or diabetics. Although our horses are good with dogs, only one of our pups is allowed around them because she’s learned to respect them. We have had other dogs in our household and either kept them separate from ours or together- our old man is starting to not be super happy about other dogs but he likes to hang out in his kennel so he’s not bothered. Our cats DO generally have full run of the house, but can be kept separate as well. My family will absolutely love your pet as our own!
