Hey there! I'm Jessie, a recent college graduate who loves dogs! I've worked in various shelters and rescues with both dogs and cats, and have had dogs of my own. During my experiences at shelters and with my university’s animal welfare organization, I’ve socialized young puppies, cleaned up after dogs inside kennels and out on the town, done light grooming tasks, and have worked on basic obedience commands. Walking dogs through different environments and giving them the proper amount of exercise and fun was part of my routine visits to shelters. I enjoyed my time at the shelters and I’d be happy to walk, play with or take care of your pup for you. I’m willing to work with any breed and am most comfortable with small to medium sized dogs. I believe all dogs have special personalities and I’m excited to meet your buddy and tailor their experience to their needs. I can stop by for short walks or breaks or stay over for longer periods of time. I personally like being outside and am sensitive to a dog’s energy level and interests. If your dog is more laid back, I’m also comfortable giving them space or finding alternative ways to engage them.
