Dog sitter who loves dog hikes!
Pet care experience
Happy dogs are well exercised dogs. I've been an experienced dog hiker, walker and sitter since 2001, and I would love to tire out your fur babies outdoors in any weather. I love to hike, go to the dog park or walk the neighborhood and get them moving so you know they are getting the love, attention and physical activity they crave when you are away. Hiking walks are a premium service and are $50/hour I also specialize in senior dogs and dogs with special needs. I have owned and cared for dogs that were blind, deaf, and had complex medical problems and diabetes management. I understand the level of care dogs with special needs have and the anxiety that goes along with finding someone who care provide that extra care, attention and knowledge.
Reviews
Jesse was absolutely AMAZING! I was so nervous leaving my fur baby with someone new but Jesse eased my mind. She sent pictures and videos all the time! She took her for walks and outside all the time. I will ALWAYS use her any time I go away. She was, hands down, the BEST!
Jesse takes such good care of my dogs. Thank you!

I know all Pittsburgh parks and trails like the back of my hand. I have been hiking dogs of all breeds, ages and sizes for over 20 years. Getting you pet the physical activity they crave supports them in so many ways: Physical health: Hiking can improve a dog's cardiovascular health, build muscle mass, and increase stamina. Hiking on different terrains, like hills or rocky paths, can also improve balance and coordination. Mental health: Hiking can provide mental stimulation for dogs. The new sights, sounds, and smells on the trail can help prevent destructive behaviors. Social benefits: Hiking can help with weight management, healthy joints, and socialization. Bonding: Hiking can provide an opportunity for your dog to bond with people and nature. I always follow practice the National Parks B.A.R.K. rule wherever I hike with your dog. B.A.R.K. stands for: Bag your pet’s waste Always leash your pet Respect wildlife Know where you can go Whether we walked one lap around the park or 5 miles in the woods, our post-hike recovery includes some important steps. Your pooch has plenty of fresh water to rehydrate, I'll check their skin and fur for any parasites like fleas or ticks, Wipe their paws and remove any seeds or burrs and love on them as they rest up!

Information Jesse S. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if you dog has any special needs, behavioral needs, or medical conditions. I have raised many dogs with special needs and behavior needs and understand them all.
A typical day
I love to keep your dogs active and stimulated based off their needs and preferences. If they want to just walk the neighborhood, go to the dog park or take a vigorous hike, I will keep them moving. If they just need a lot of love on the couch or to sit outside with all my attention, that's what they'll get. Either way they will be safe, loved and cared for just like they are mine.
