HILLY DOG SITTING

Pet care experience

Hi, We are a big family of warm and enthusiastic dog sitters. We absolutely love dogs! I have a high level of expertise gained from personal study in pet care, health, nutrition, and behaviour. Being a very responsible, mature, and calm individual, me and my family always give 110% in providing them with the care and affection they need, ensuring a happy and safe stay in our family home. We also have a lot of experience with dogs who are nervous or have a rescue background and with us they learn to trust and be themselves. We have a large garden with plenty of space for them to mess about and 2 huge nearby parks as well as local forest for them long, adventurous walks. Pet pick up and drop off available if you don't drive or you are just to busy. Flexible drop off and pick up times. Please get in touch for more information. 😊 🐶🐶🐶😊

Jesse is a calm, experienced dog handler who clearly has a love and passion for dogs. We have been searching for someone to look after our dog for a while, but because she is a large breed and shy and nervous it's not always easy. We took her for a day taster session and she had a great time. We've just returned from a 10 day holiday abroad. Jesse sent us daily updates and picked up on our dogs little habits very quickly. We were able to enjoy our holiday, safe in the knowledge that our dog was safe, happy and on holiday too! We're going away again in a couple of weeks and she'll be staying with Jesse again. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Jesse. Thank you Jesse!

Traumatised Sick dogs Jesse's communication was extremely good, as I expect it would be if a person was able to accommodate approx 10 pooches per night. She told us our dogs were amazing on the leads and didn't bark once? She is most certainly not describing our dogs. As soon as she opened the door when we picked them up our eldest dog super reared up barking, Super is a smart, very smart, she's a trained medical assistance dog, trained to alert others to danger, she wanted away from there quick sharpish, when we got home both dogs were vomiting and there back ends spewing liquid yellow, we couldn't wake them up, they would not go out for their usual walk, hiding from every sound, please don't be fooled by the reviews, we are told by our regular sitter that many are fake on this site, others even showed us how it's done, we are members of dog rescue and it's very clear to us when something just does not add up. Our dogs are under vet care and have endured extreme distress, we suggest Rover do a full investigation into this boarder, we question their abilities in dog handling and care, also stacking in as many dogs over a weekend as you can in my mind cannot provide the level of care and attention a family pet needs, it's obviously is a lucrative business but not at the expense of your beloved pet, BEWARE of the shiny coating and amazing reviews, there's little or no support to these claims, she kept us updated with pictures that did not reassure us, as every picture was of scared miserable dogs, ears down and tail under and low to the ground, dog behaviour is really obvious, it also looked like one big photo shoot in what looked like the kitchen where she said our dogs would be sleeping? We're the pictures possibly spread out across the 24 hours as lighting and dog positions did not change? One of the pictures was our dog snapped in the middle of the street, how's that for safety? We will NEVER BE SEEKING BOARDING AGAIN! We waited a week to review, as our dogs are currently very sick and we also wished to visit the area where our dogs were boarded and were walked, as our love for all dogs not just our own demands our full attention and requires that we do something useful, we wanted to match the pictures to the locations before we went ahead to write this. We were spotted by the boarder who saw us briefly but made no comment, we left to return the next day as were trying to see where our dogs had been walked and apparently cared for, but the second day my partner was accused of following her. My partner was was told never to return to the area, and was escorted away by a car, there's no law against being in an area to check what happened to our dogs. They threatened the call the police, why be so aggressive towards us if your caring dog lovers? We did not threaten you, we came to see the area, as we couldn't enter the house as you don't allow that, it just seemed too unreal to us, the whole thing needs investigating. We have rescued a large number of dogs, many dogs lives we have saved, do you really care about dog welfare, or is it just cash to you? Cannot understand why you would be so upset about dog owners following up on details after a visit, we were told to text you, why? When we can come and take a look for ourselves. We broke no laws and were happy to talk to you in person, all pets deserve precious care, as their value to us is more than money can buy. We remain friendly good people and was met with unsavoury outcomes. Happy to chat with you further or maybe even pop in for a cuppa to see where the dogs are kept, how's that for a great deal. We are relentless at what we do for animals, get in touch or berate us the choice is yours.

It was the first time we had left the 2 boys- 2 French bulldogs We were kept updated daily - with loads of photos which was really good The boys previously were quite hesitant when being with other dogs- but the stay with Jesse seemed to have helped a lot. Jesse also asked questions re their diet and other requirements Would use Jesse again.
