Pet care experience
I am a certified Wildlife Rehabilitator and have spent 100 shadowing a Vet. I have taken care of dogs since I was in middle school! Everyone in the family and in the neighborhood comes to me with the injured or sick animals before they seek professional help. I have been a docent at the zoo since I was 13. I have also spent time volunteering at the Pennsylvania Wolf sanctuary. You can see that I love animals. . . Especially dogs!

I usually care for pets in my clients home by first greeting the dog by name in a friendly voice. From there we go outside or potty. After potty, if needed, is feeding time. We will then play for a while and then potty again. If anything needs cleaned up, I will do that. If anything needs communicated, I will write a note.

I’d like to know the dogs age, breed, name, health status, if they get along with other dogs, can they ride in a car and are they obedience trained. They should be up to date on their vaccinations.
A typical day
I want to take my dogs in the woods off the leash . I have worked on their training so that they stay close. We also like to swim together when we are on vacation! Even strolls around the neighborhood with them on the leash are great. . . .Meeting their puppy friends and my neighbors. Our favorite however is being in the snow!

Availability
I work part time doing security. I am usually able to do pet care between 9:00am and 11:00PM. Most of the time the two should work together seamlessly. I have had as many as 4 part time jobs at one time, so I a master at juggling schedules!
