I've been around dogs for most of my life. I have had medium to large breed dogs, but my mom has had small breed dogs for many years. I have a husky/shepherd mix female that is fixed and just over 1 year old and full of energy. She has really taught me patience and that life just happens. I use positive reinforcement for good things - treats, praise, petting and an understanding when bad things happen - potties, nibbles, jumping. I understand that these are animals and that they have needs and wants. I am more than willing to love all animals and treat them with kindness and respect. My hours vary during the week but I'm usually available on the weekends. Hope to meet your furry family members soon.
