Pet care experience
I grew up with pets in the house, my parents owned Shih-Tzus, a Chocolate Lab, two rescued Pit Bulls & a rescued cat. In the military, I was always the go-to person to House & Pet-sit for other Marines in my unit that went away on leave or left on temporary assignments. Sometimes I would be responsible for walking, feeding, grooming, and cleaning up after their pets for as long as a month. I inherited my cat from my parents over 7 years ago and my wife & I rescued an "unadoptable" dog 3 years ago. She had terrible separation anxiety and wasn't good with meeting new dogs or people. With patience and diligence, her edges have almost completely smoothed out and she is unrecognizable to the dog that we brought home years ago.

I have professional experience in property management and electrical service which required me to enter customer's homes daily. I understand the responsibility of being unsupervised (or on camera) in another person's home and am extremely respectful of my customer's homes and belongings. I have experience with dogs who are kennel/crate trained as well as dogs who are allowed to roam freely about their owner's house. I always do my best to ensure pets stay where their owner's would like them to & do not get access to anything they're not meant to have. My parent's Pit Bulls were chewers and I picked up the good habit of clearing tables & counter tops to prevent them from getting a hold of anything they weren't meant to.
