I have owned dogs my entire life (literally since infancy). I currently have a 6 year old golden retriever and she is like my child. She probably eats healthier and exercise more than I do and makes me smile every day. I will treat your pets as if they were my own, with love and affection. I know how dogs need to exercise, play, and have social interactions just as people do to be happy. I can follow any type of behavioral plan your dog may be on, as I’ve actually worked as a professional behavioral therapist with human kids. And I have both undergraduate and graduate education in behavioral development using operant conditioning and positive reinforcement. I love all dogs big and small. I am happy to care for small puppies as well as the enormous dogs that slobber all over. My family has horses and Great Danes and I know just how playful and lovable they all are. My dog Sophie gets Hot Spots every summer which require both topical and oral medications at times. I've become quite proficient in their administration and am happy to give any pet meds you dog may need as well. Their health and safety will be of the utmost importance to me. I know how important it is to know your pet is being cared for safely and affectionately by a person you can depend on and trust. I also know how important it is that your pet actually likes the person who is caring for them. I can do both.
