Very energetic outdoorsy caregiver
Pet care experience
I moved to Boston in January and was dog sitting in Washington DC for several years before that! I have a 1 year old golden retriever so loves other dogs and would gladly welcome a friend!! I have a lot of experience caring for multiple dogs in others homes for extended periods of time (up to ten days). I am very attentive to the animals and love to play with them. I am a very outdoorsy and active person so I enjoy taking them for long walks, runs, and hikes (as long as they are up for it). I never leave the dogs alone for more than 3 hours (if even that). I currently work from home so am around during the day and take a lot of breaks for walks and play time!

Jess was fantastic with Marley. She was super friendly and very communicative during the stay to update me on how things were going. Marley seemed to love her as well. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!
Jess was so great with our pup. We felt so comfortable all weekend knowing that Jess was watching our baby. Our dog got plenty of exercise and cuddle time and we received so many updates and photos, which we really appreciated. We would definitely recommend Jess. She was fantastic.
Jess was absolutely wonderful! Our 2 year old huskey has tons of energy, and she was great at giving him the intensive exercise he needed out on the dog park, even on a cold and gloomy day. She really went the extra mile, highly recommended!
Jessamyn is a loving, caring and attentive animal caregiver. She has watched my two dogs in the past, one is very old and the other is much younger. Both require very different attention and Jess was more than able to handle their needs. She sent me updates even when I didn't ask and when I got home from my trip my dogs acted like I had never left. They were completely comfortable and I could tell they had been in great hands! Leaving a pet is hard, but knowing that my dogs were with jess gave me nothing to worry about!

I like to walk everywhere with the dogs I sit. Favorites are the dog park on P street (right around the corner from my house), Meridian Hill Park (about a mile from my house), or just around the neighborhoods of Shaw and Logan Circle. I love to run so as long as the dogs are up for it, I will also take them on my morning runs or weekend hikes.
