I grew up with animals and find so much joy in caring for them, learning all their quirks and loving them for their individuality. As a writer and musician, this supplemental work is joyful and enhances my daily life. There isn't a better feeling than the trust that your beloved creature is in good hands when you leave town, and I'm very happy to provide that service for others. I'm a creative spirit who will find fun new ways to get your creatures moving and keep them calm while you're gone. I will always go the extra mile to make sure that your animal is happy to see me - mainly a selfish move because that makes my heart feel good :) I can't wait to meet and treat your pet!

Jessamyn watched our beloved dog for 11 days and was amazing. She frequently sent photos and updates. She took our dog running and on other fun adventures. When we picked our dog up, it was clear that she had been very happy and well taken care of for the entire stay. I would highly recommend Jessamyn.

I enjoy hosting dogs that are good with cats. My cat has grown up exposed to dogs and is a fun playmate for dogs of all sizes. If your dog isn't good with cats, we can discuss me hosting them for a slightly increased fee as I'd need to board my cat with a neighbor.
A typical day
I live in Venice Beach and have found that when dogs stay with me they tend to mellow out due to the exposure to the somewhat noisy and chaotic environment. It sounds counter intuitive but since I am so relaxed and comfortable there, they learn to adjust. I've really seen some wondrous results in just a few days time.
