I grew up in the country surrounded by land and animals. My family always had a few dogs and cats and even horses. I spent many a weekend cleaning stalls and keeping the cats company in the barn. Now, living in the city, I crave more nature and animals! I've befriended the neighborhood birds and squirrels and adopted a stray cat for a while before adopting my rescue dog 5 years ago. When we first got her she was very timid, and was not house trained, leash trained, or even knew how to play. We used a lot of positive reinforcement and new experiences to help her on her way and now she's the best of companions. I know how it feels to be away and worry about your fur baby. I am happy to send daily updates, photos and videos so that your time away is worry free and fun. I am a painter who works from home and always willing to take a break, especially for animals. I go on three walks a day around the neighborhood and a longer park walk once a week. If you require longer or more frequent walks, that is okay too. I have a good sized fenced yard that works well for sunbathing, bathroom breaks or to chase the squirrels. My dog sleeps with me in my bed but I'd prefer if yours was crated at night or able to sleep through the night in their own bed.
