Pet care experience
Hi there! After graduating college with a degree in Wildlife I worked in a zoo, dog and cat boarding facility and most recently in a city animal shelter as an Animal Care Specialist and Adoption Counselor! I have experience with difficult animals and am patient when it comes to animal care. I love them all, no matter what! Some of my experience includes but is not limited to- basic grooming, positive reinforcement, medicating, various types of behavior issues. You will never have to worry if I am going to show up to take care of business. I am reliable and will communicate as much as you would like! I have horse care experience as well. Thank you!!

Jessa is wonderful. We have 4 dogs and all of them love her. She also manages the chaos of 4 dogs very well. I highly recommend her.
Jessa was amazing with our three babes. We had just moved into a new house and they get a little territorial with new places. She was great with them and we had no issues. She kept us updated and sent pictures. We are so glad we picked her and we would love to use her in the future.
Jessa is great! This was our second time. Milo loves her, therefore we love her. She is someone you can count on and trust her.
Jessa deserves ALL of the stars! There are very few people we trust to leave our animals with (mainly because one dog is quite difficult), and Jessa is one of them. She handled our pets like a pro and was an awesome communicator. Would recommend her to anyone and everyone!

I have been lucky enough to take many training sessions provided by a certified dog trainer through my previous jobs. Some of the skills I posses include leash skills, basic training techniques, positive reinforcement, daily care, etc. I have an both the natural and learned ability to make friends with the more sensitive, challenging guys and gals.

A typical day
Mental stimulation is key to a happy, satisfied pup! Snuffle mats, puzzle feeders, toy time, walks, sniff-stravaganzas, you and your furry friend can name it and I’ve done it!

Luckily, I can provide full time animal care for Rover users. 7 days a week. This will be my job for the next few months!
