"Jessa, I hope I get to come back as one of your dogs." That's what I hear the most from the people around me. I have passionately dedicated myself to the care and well being of animals, be it my own, yours, rescue, stray, shelter - anyone who needs help. In our house we believe strongly in morning chicken, and glasses of ice water by the bed (to promptly reject, because "we" saw a cat drink out of it, and now we need Mommy's water.) before and after massages. Everyone here is a rescue and came with some sort of special need. I accommodate all of them, and believe in an environment that is safe and secure so that they have the freedom to be their true selves. I am experienced in injections (insulin, adequan, B12 etc) and oral medications even in the trickiest of situations. I have a cold laser (Tendlite, LLT) that I use for wound healing and pain treatments. I had a three-legged Corgi with a nerve sheathe tumor on his spine, so anything you could imagine that would go with that 24hr care for 8 months, I am capable of (and still paying off). I know how much I cherish my pet sitters, and I hope to provide that comfort for anyone I work with. We go for daily neighborhood walks, and when the weather permits, we will be back hiking and in parks (when they are safe again.) if that is something you would like your dog to join in on. I truly respect the individual wishes and requests of each person, as they know what the needs of their dog is, and as I know I need mine met from my sitters as well. I am a Realtor, so while I may need to sneak out here and there throughout the day, I am home quite a bit and try to leave for only short amounts of time when required. There is a dog door here, which could be left open or closed upon request. This gives me the ability to pop into your house for a relief or a walk during business hours and nighttime as well. I at one point, was walking a shiloh shepherd, a border collie, my little mix guy, and pushing a stroller with my Corgi all at the same time, so dog walks are an easy jaunt for me.
