Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Jessa! I can guarantee the highest quality of care for your pet. I offer long-term boarding, regular weekly day care, house sitting, or just the occasional drop-in visit! I am always responsive, reliable, and attentive. I have volunteered with BARCs as a cat socializer for several years, and I have an intuitive understanding of cat’s body language and how they prefer to be petted and played with. I am also experienced with caring for dogs, and love to go on long walks and provide plenty of outdoor time. I'm always gentle and affectionate with pets. I never cut corners when I am trusted with their care.
Reviews
Jessa was great with Ginny and Blue, she treated them like family and we could really relax during our weekend away. I loved the many pictures she sent as well! We'll book with Jessa again for sure and recommend anyone to board their pets with her 😊
This was my first Rover booking and Jessa made it a fantastic experience. She is responsive, welcoming, and treated my cat like her own. She provided daily updates and many pictures/videos which made me happy to stay connected to how things were going. Would definitely recommend Jessa and hopefully have Jessa watch my cat the next time he needs a sitter. Thank you Jessa!
Jessa was great! She was very flexible with meet & greets and drop off times. We got tons of photos, and Apfel enjoyed her stay. Would book again.
Thanks for taking such good care of Willow, Jessa! Nice to know I am leaving her in loving and capable hands!

I live in downtown Baltimore near Penn Station, and can provide walks around Hampden, Mount Vernon and Charles village, where there are several nice parks. I have a circuit of 4 local green spaces that I like to take dogs to, providing a variety of scenery for the pups. When I host, I can walk dogs as often as they need, usually a potty break every 2 hours and 2 longer walks, but I am happy to take energetic pups out for longer. My apartment is 2br, with a large living room and kitchen. My second bedroom is unfurnished with a nice mattress on the ground, and has big windows with lots of sunlight, and is a comfy and private space for pets to go if they want it. This room can be used to host fearful cats, or in lieu of a crate for dogs (if desired by the owner - normally I leave dogs loose if they have to be alone in my apartment for short periods). My apartment is on the second and third stories of a row home, so it is not handicap accessible or ideal for senior dogs who have difficulty climbing stairs - sorry! I have one pet, an adorable senior cat named Chessie, and she stays completely locked away in my bedroom when I host pets. Although it is highly unlikely I would ever introduce her to a pet I was hosting, for the safety of my cat, it is important that I don’t host dogs who have a history of biting or aggression towards small animals. I can provide proof of vaccination, and only host pets with proof of vaccination.

Information Jessa B. would like to know about your pet
It’s helpful to know what verbal cues your dog responds to, if he/she is allowed in the car, anything your pup is particularly sensitive to (noise, other animals). For cats, please let me know if your kitty gets overstimulated easily.
A typical day
If your pup is allowed to go in the car, I love taking trips to Patterson park and Patapsco state park! I can hang out there and walk around for hours.

Availability
I am starting a jewelry business, which means I work from home, I have a very flexible schedule, and I’m home all day. I don’t mind last minute requests or cancellations at all, most of clients are traveling and I completely get that your travel plans are subject to last-minute changes. I respond as quickly as possible, and I’ll do anything I can to meet your needs!
