Pet care experience
I've taken care of many different types of pets since at least age 7. As a child I walked, fed, bathed and cared for my own pets as well as neighbors'. As an adult I have worked as a dog walker and pet sitter, caring for as many as 10 pets at one time. I'm comfortable with administering medication and working on basic training. I am available and willing to take dogs to the park, beach, and elsewhere. My house is very dog friendly, with a large fenced-in yard, and I live in a quiet neighborhood near the bay which is a lot of fun to explore!

I've had Jess cat sit for Tesla kitty multiple times. She was the only one I would call for my catsitting needs because she just went above and beyond all the rest. She has a natural intuition and ability to communicate with animals, and her compassion is enormous. (Florida: Believe me when I say our loss is your gain and though I am so happy Jess is doing well in her new home, I miss her so much!!) My cat has special dietary needs and is famously a "grump." Jess followed his dietary restrictions perfectly and honored and accepted all his personality quirks. She would update me with photos of snuggle time and play time adventures. Tesla kitty was, honestly, a bit disappointed upon my return because Jess is so much more fun than me. Jess was also always very respectful of our house and neighbors. Jess is down-to-earth, funny, and trustworthy. I would recommend her to anybody. The value of her skills is priceless!
Jess was my #1 cat sitter, I'm so sad to have lost her to the other side of the country! I'll share specifically about April 2017 when I moved to a new apartment and I had to go away for 5 days to a conference only two days after the move! Many of you know how hard a move can be on a cat and my Brooklyn was very upset and I was extra worried about leaving her at this critical time. Jess not only took amazing care of my cat, but she took care of me too. She understood I would not be able to focus on the conference if I was worried about Brooklyn. Jess sent me lots of extra texts and photos and updates without my having to ask or explain that this trip I would need something different than usual. She understands cats, and bonds with them, and is so attuned to their needs, in a way that is very special and honestly unique. Lots of people love cats, especially my Brooklyn, she charms everyone who comes over. What Jess has is a gift, something above and beyond just loving them and wanting to spend time with them and following instructions. It's an X factor. If you want the best, you found it. Whatever Jess is charging, you should pay more.

I have a large, fenced in yard and a spare room to accommodate a crate, bed, etc. I live with my partner who is also a dog lover, though we do not have any pets of our own presently. Pets are allowed on the furniture! We are currently boarding two cats so any dogs should be cat friendly!

I'd like to know if they are house trained! I have a big soft spot for pit bulls and other bully breeds, but really I'll take care of any dog that will let me.
A typical day
Dogs will be free to run around my large, fenced in yard, where I'll also play with them. We'll go on walks down by the bay or rides to the park or other dog-friendly destinations, with special treats if that's okay with you! Your pup will be showered with love and affection and appropriately corrected when necessary.

Availability
I have no limits on my availability currently! I'd really like to find a few regular walking clients with occasional day care at my house and occasional boarding. I also have access to a car. Currently I am boarding two cats, and can currently only accept dogs that are experienced and friendly with cats!
