Hi there! Our names are Jess and Mike! We love pups of all shapes and sizes and we take pride in making sure your four-legged friends are happy and healthy while you’re away, so you can rest assured they’ll be well cared-for! We have a spacious, dog-friendly house that is surrounded by lakes and walking trails, perfect for even the most active dog needs. We have fostered and cared for dogs for 5+ years together, and with no dogs or kids of our own, your dogs are our main focus while they're here. Our clients find they receive the best possible care with us because we take dogs from only one household or group at a time. As a result, we can accommodate all kinds of requests to make sure each dog feels right at home.

Jess and Michael are AWESOME sitters. Very conscientious and communicative. It’s obvious they’ve had a lot of experience and knew how to ‘read’ Skipper. Skip came home happy, well cared for, and really comfortable around them – and will probably miss Michael and Jess a bit. We won’t hesitate to use them again in the future!

Jess and Michael were wonderful hosts to Maddie! Normally Maddie stays with family, so she hadn’t been with a new sitter/rover for quite some time. They sent me photos throughout the weekend of how comfortable she was settling in with them and definitely enjoyed her walks in a new area! I will definitely keep them at the top of my list for the future.
Jess and Michael were great with our 10 month old puppy! He’l requires lots of love and attention, and we felt confident and comfortable leaving him for the first time with Jess and Michael. They were very detail oriented and took a lot of notes with our specific requests and concerns. Our pup ha da great time! We got lots of photos to prove it 😊 Thank you both so much!!!

We keep each dog physically and mentally engaged throughout every stay. They can expect multiple walks daily, if that's what they're used to. If they are more in to 'treats and snoozin', that works too! We love to keep their minds active with command training and food puzzles. If you have tricks you’re working on, we can reinforce those while they're here.

A typical day
We’ll play fetch, go for walks/runs and have lots of nature trails nearby with the best smells and views. Follow us @dallasdoghaus to see for yourself! We like to play games that encourage scent-work and fun tricks - so let us know if there’s anything you’re working on with your pup!

Availability
On most weekdays, at least one of us is working from home and are available to let dogs out more frequently if needed. We're both at home in the evening and on weekends, and can make sure visiting dogs get double the care and attention.
