Pet care experience
I am a very responsible person with reliable transportation. I am a dog lover and have two very special rescue dogs of my own. I have been a foster home for dogs coming out of the shelter and in search of their forever home, and I often help out friends by letting their dogs out/walking them when they are in a pinch. I will provide great care to your pets while you are away. I can provide excellent references. I have had my own struggles finding someone to watch my dogs while I am out of town, so I'm looking to be that reliable person for others. Your dog(s) will have a great time with me! Will also provide care for cats.

We love when Jess is able to take care of our fur babies when we're out of town because we know they're in great hands. She is great with keeping us updated with how they're doing and all the cute pictures of them. I have never had any issues with communication with her and she's super accommodating.
Jess is very sweet. We had a great experience with her as our pet sitter. She over and beyond what we expected from her. She fed, let out and walked our dogs. Fed our cat and cleaned up any messes that our senior dog accidently left. We are so happy to have found her knowing that anytime we need to leave we have a pet sitter to take care of our babys. We highly recommend her.
We were Jess's first Rover.com clients and can't talk any more highly of her! She and her husband were very personable and easy to work with. We thought it was going to be far fetched to find someone to take care of our dogs over the holiday, but luckily we stumbled upon Jess's profile. My own pets are cared for very well. They get regular play time, new toys and treats, regular vet visits. The community that I used to reside in would no longer allow my dogs, so we moved to a different home because getting rid of them was simply not an option. I would treat a client's pet in their home just as I treat my own, with lots of love, pets, attention, play time and treats as instructed.

I am happy to accommodate any special needs pets as long as detailed care instructions are provided. I have experience caring for my own pets in the past in their senior years, as well as other dogs that are not mine. I am patient and caring with all animals and their needs.
A typical day
I will do whatever activities that the clients would like me to do with their pets. My personal favorites are fetch or tag/chase in the backyard. I enjoy focused walks or slow walks with time for all the smells.

Availability
With my own pets, we go out in the morning as soon as our feet and paws hit the ground for some play time and fetch. They are fed twice a day, about 12 hours apart. I work full-time outside of the home, so I make sure we get another good 30-minute play session in the backyard as soon as I get home from work. I would do the same for pets in a client's home; early morning arrival, playtime, feeding, lots of pets and affection. I am available 3x a day (6:00ish AM, 5:00ish PM, 9:00ish PM) during the week and more on weekends.
