Pet care experience
My family has always been a multiple dog household. I grew up loving and caring for these babes my whole life. I am very drawn to animals and love them with my whole heart. When I was 10 I started taking on the responsibility of feeding, walking, brushing the dogs we had, and in turn my parents surprised me with a cat. Sydney was my pride and joy for 18 long years. I love love dogs, but love love loveeee cats. I have one of my own now who is 7 years old. She has been challenging and territorial and temperamental, and has taught me so much about patience and love and kindness and reading the animal. I started caring for friends cats/dogs about 7 years ago. Whenever someone would go out of town I would spend time with their pets each day giving them the love and human contact they need for long periods of time. With khaleesi (my current cat) being territorial and having some behavior issues, I do not allow animals into my home at the moment, but working on it. That being said, I’m more than happy to visit your animal in their own space, where they are comfortable and familiar. I love all animals and would be so happy to love your sweet babies! I mean, have your business 😊

I can't say enough good things about Jess house sitting / watching my dog while I was out of town for a few days. This was the first time leaving Ginger since I adopted her a few months ago so I was a little worried how she might react but Jess won her over in no time. Jess was great about keeping me updated and sending me pictures throughout the weekend. I came home to a spotless house and a happy pup, it couldn't have gone any better. I will definitely book her again in the future.
Jess was amazing with Toby! I felt like he was in the best hands while I was out of town. I was kept updated and I knew Toby was being well taken care of. Jess went above and beyond!!
Jess was great and easy to work with! She sent tons of pictures and kept me in the loop every day with what our sweet pup was up to. She communicated daily, kept our house just (if not better) than we left it, and Bear absolutely loved her! Tons of playing, walks and cuddle time. Would definitely recommend and we can’t wait to use Jess again in the future, we know our pup will be excited to see his new friend again too!
Jess was really friendly and Duck dog seemed to have a great time. Recommend!

When it comes to visits and care, I make sure to find the babe first and make sure they are doing ok. Give them some pets or scritches if they’d like. From there I make sure there is water, food, scooped liter box for cats, and no messes/accidents. After that if it’s a dog, we will go for a walk, or go potty and play outside, for cats I will sit on the floor at their level and let them come to me. I will pet, scritch, play, walk, take videos or pictures to send to mom/dad for as long as they’d like me to. Once I’m dismissed I tell them I love them and leave.

A typical day
I live in a neighborhood that is great for walking dogs! I live about .5 miles from the south austin rec center, so we can go on a walk to the rec center, walk on the trail or run around in an open field there. There are sometimes other dogs so if they’re friendly, we can interact.

Availability
I currently work remote and at home. I teach yoga during the evenings and attend classes during lunch. Combining the care of your pet during lunchtime or before/after class is perfect for my schedule, but I’m flexible to all schedules. My personal preference is to not stay overnight during visits, as my cat has a bit of anxiety. But because of my schedule I’m able to spend a bunch of morning, afternoon, and evening time with your babe!
