I learned to administer subcutaneous fluids at age 10 for cats as well as learned how to administer pills to cats around the same time. When I was a sophomore in high school, our track team started running dogs on the weekend at the humane society and is something I continued to do to date. I would love to start running dogs again! Walks are cool too, whatever your furbaby needs! Any care you may need for your pet apart from grooming, I've got you covered!

Jess loves animals more than anything and will always do what is best for your pet. She followed the most detailed instructions that we left for our 5 pets (1 dog, 3 cats and 1 rabbit) and kept everything in their routine. It was a huge relief to know that while we were away, our little herd was given care like we would give them. We also have cameras and she was totally fine with us checking in and the couple times we did, she was actively engaged with our pets and she even did our dishes! So glad we found Jess and we even planned our getaways around her schedule so that we knew she would be available to care for our home and our pets. You'll be relieved to have Jess as your caregiver!

We have a fenced in backyard and various safety gates put up throughout our home to protect our own pets so that would extend to your pets as well. We also have security cameras everywhere; inside and outside of the house. I'm one of those pet owners that will take their pet to the vet for basically anything and keep detailed records of everything so you can rest assured that your pets will be closely looked after. Safety & love are tied for my number one priority when it comes to taking care of pets and formerly being a professional nanny for 13 years, that same care and attention that I brought to families looking after their tiny humans is how I approach caring for pets! We don't have children so animals are our everything. In your home, I am a guest and will behave as such. I am a huge stickler about my home so I bring that energy and care to yours!

I like to know everything as I believe this is the best way to set us both up for success. What is their routine? I would like to stick to it as best as possible. Is your dog leash reactive? Are they ok around other dogs/animals? Are they ok with new people? What kind of activities do they like to do? Any key words/ training practices you'd like me to continue using during our time together? My role as your pet's caregiver while you're away is to make this transition and experience as stress free for all of us and continue their routine as closely as possible and more!
A typical day
We live right next to a few parks and I like to take our dog to the open field right next to our neighborhood and let her go crazy on her herding balls, play frisbee, fetch with tennis balls or just chase us around. These are things we could do with your dog. I also like to run so if you'd like your dog ran, that is something we could discuss. We have a lot of great walking routes around our house so making sure we can switch it up won't be a problem. At your house, I would follow any routes you'd like.

Availability
I work from home as a personal trainer and my husband runs our small business from home so we are always here. We have incredibly flexible schedules and now that we have Roux, our mini Aussie, any opportunity to get her around other dogs is a huge win for us. We also have 2 cats so our lives basically revolve around our pets and would love to extend the love and care to other folks who have to work outside of the home, are going on vacation or just need some extra help with their fur babies. Due to my and my husband's schedule, I am able to leave my house and do in care home at your house if you need me to!
