Pet care experience
I am a nature fueled person who will take your dogs on trails and leisure walks as well as giving them the company they deserve. I have plenty of experience with dogs and cats of all types (especially the "difficult" ones) as I was have veterinary assistant experience since high school and being the "animal whisperer" in my family and friend group. I was a part of my high schools vet program for 4 years where we ran a doggy daycare for the staffs dogs With my veterinary background I will know how to handle all kinds of animals as well as making sure they are comfortable and well during my taking care of them I will also have the strength and ability to handle dogs that other sitters might not handle and I will be sure to make your pets and you satisfied with my care. I do work at another job but it is flexible enough to work with

We had a super last minute sitter emergency and Jersa was so awesome about it. Communicated with me every step of the way before and during the days we were gone. Got updates on our pups every day and they really liked her! I can honestly say I was not worried about them while we were away. We have found our sitter!

Jersa went absolutely above and beyond when my family and I hired her to look after our cats while we went on a 5 night cruise. When we hired her, expecting her to simply make sure their food was full and they were somewhat socialized, she surpassed our expectations and gave our kitties priceless love and care that could only come from someone who truly values animals. She spent hours with them, making sure they were safe and happy-- and kept them out of trouble, too! We would (and will!) hire Jersa again in a heartbeat.
Jersa has been our pet sitter for over a year. She has taken care of our dog Roxy and always does an amazing job. She treats Roxy as her own, and I know that no one would give her better care in our absence. It would be helpful to know of any behavioral problems. Knowing if they are dog aggressive, cat aggressive, people aggressive. As well as knowing how they tend to walk on a leash.
A typical day
We will walk at least 20 minutes and if allowed I would love to take your dog out on the town and thru trails to keep them engaged. I like going on the Hawthorne trail often

Availability
I'm currently working part time with flexible hours so I can have plenty of time to hang out with your pet. I also live close to a lot of areas in Gainesville and it makes it easier for me to be able to get to your pup.
