Pet care experience
I have been a dog lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up with my childhood Chow and now my own pup. Over the last 2 years I've walked and dog sat for many people in my apartment building. The dogs I have cared for in the past have ranged from a 25-pound lhasa apso mix (since he was 3 months and 10 lbs) to a 60-pound husky. My 3-year old husky is my best friend and always has my undivided attention. Of course, he has a lot of energy but I enjoy being able to care for him daily - from frequent play time in the apartment to runs in the nearby park. I am a very caring and kind person that gives dogs the love and attention they deserve. I have administered medication and spent time with dogs who have required special attention for various reasons (older, separation anxiety, etc). Interacting with dogs daily is truly the highlight of my days.

We prefer to leave our dog in a Rover home near where we live so we were glad to have found Jerrell. Our had a great stay with him. Jerrell communicated well and responded back in a timely manner to any of our questions and messages and sent us pictures as well during the stay. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a dog sitter. Thanks Jerrell. Looking forward to sending Ace over again!

Great care for our puppy. Would book again with Jerrell because he is responsible and quick to respond to us when we ask to check up on our pup! Very happy with his level of communication and would recommend to friend. Glad to be able to have a reliable sitter.
Jerrell was absolutely amazing when it came to taking care of my pup Mikey. He communicated regularly and provided frequent updates with photos and videos. My time away from Mikey was much easier knowing he was having a great time and being well taken care of.

I care for every dog as if they are my own, and honestly my girlfriend would say I take better care of my dog than myself lol. If I am around a dog, they will always have more attention than they could even ask for.

I would simply like to know if there is any special care your dog needs, so that I can do my best to provide appropriate care. In addition, if there are any behavior issues/concerns, any particular thing you are training your dog that you’d like me to reinforce. Lastly, if there are any past health problems or anything I need to look out for.
A typical day
I love to play with dogs and enjoy watching them play with each other. Your dog will be provided with many things to do. My dog is very friendly and loves to play so there will be a lot of fun and exercise.Sometimes I take my dog to the dog park located nearby and have taken several of my friend’s dogs as well. If I were to watch your dog, we can discuss what activities your dog enjoys the most and if you would be comfortable with them at the park and/or dog park. We also have lots of toys and things to help your dog stay entertained throughout the day. Our favorite activity here is usually a good game of tug of war.

Availability
I am currently working on a degree through online courses, which allows me to be home all day if required and extremely flexible. This ensures I can provide your pup with all the attention he/she needs. My husky requires a lot of attention, so taking care of dogs and playing with them is already a part of my daily routine and I love it! My girlfriend who also lives with me is a surgery resident who is gone through the day,but joins in on the activities in the evenings and weekends.
