I grew up with all kinds of pets!
Pet care experience
We had cats, dogs, hamsters, you name it! My mom used to be a professional dog trainer so she taught me how to train all kinds of dogs - German shepherds, labradors, maltese poodles and so many more - it was so much fun! I pet-sit and dog walk for friends and family when they go out of town and have always had a blast. I want to do this more regularly and be able to do it for others!

Before the initial stay, I like to visit with your pet while you are there so they get a chance to meet me before you are away at work or vacation, etc. This way, they aren’t seeing me for the first time without a familiar face and they are more comfortable. I might have a treat or two in my pocket too!

A typical day
I love to just play around and be silly with the dogs I watch when I first get there because they are usually excited to see me and I love to encourage their excitement! The excitement continues when I ask “Do you want to go for a walk?!” Once we get going, I always stay in shaded areas and make sure they are able to do what they need to do!

I work from home during the day and coach for a couple hours in the afternoons so I am available almost all day, every day!
