Jeri is the biggest dog lover I’ve ever known. Her love for dogs shows in her care for her own puppies, her friendliness to our friends’ dogs, and her tendency to save every stray dog she comes across. Over the years she has returned many dogs to their owners and also saved strays that eventually got adopted! She has decades of personal experience with having dogs at home. Her scope of care covers puppies under a year old and senior dogs over 10 years old. She is especially good with small dogs under 20lbs, but she is great with larger dogs as well. She has had a dog at home and under primarily her care for years. She is the main caretaker for two dogs at present: a 10 year old Yorkshire Terrier and a 2 year old Pomeranian. She regularly dogsits and house sits for my 2 year old Chihuahua mix, Spunki. He has separation anxiety, as we adopted him from a local shelter at the height of the pandemic. He absolutely loves Jeri and trusts her, made apparent by how excited he is every time he sees her and how close they are. I worry lots when I’m away from Spunki, but knowing he’s with her always puts me at ease. She gives me updates every day and Spunki is always super happy and at ease when I get back home.
