We're two young professionals living and working in the Seattle area. We have two dogs, a Lab-mix and a Shih Tzu, both of whom love the company of other dogs. We have lots of wooded trails around our house to allow for long walks, a large courtyard/park down the street, and a huge dog park only a few miles away. We cannot accept pets that are food or toy aggressive, and prefer pets that are completely house trained. Why I love dog sitting I've lived with and cared for dogs my entire life. I grew up with dogs around me all the time; from Samoyeds to Shih Tzus, Yorkies to Labs, we had over ten dogs from the time I was in diapers to when I left for college. During my sophomore year in college, I adopted our cat, Socrates, and just a few years later, I adopted Hazel, our Pitt/Lab mix. Our little Shih Tzu, Emma, was our most recent rescue. Meet my pets We have two dogs of our own, a small 4-year-old shih tzu and a a medium-sized lab mix. We also have a domestic short hair cat that lives indoors. About my yard Since we live in a condo community, we don't have a fenced back yard. However, we take our dogs out on leashes regularly and walk them between one and two miles a day. There is a large open grassy space right outside our door and there are many city trails for us to explore while your dog is in our care. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering oral or ocular medication, though I've never administered intravenous or intramuscular injections in pets.
