I have lived with quite a few dogs in my day! I have had 3 dogs when I was much younger, all of which were very well taken care of and led very happy lives. All were medium to large dogs. One was a boxer and two of them were Anatolian Shepherds raised from pups (sisters!). In my high school years I lived with my aunt, uncle, cousin, and their family dog, a Golden Doodle, and I'd often take her for walks along a nearby hiking trail as well as clean up after and feed her. As she has gotten older she has developed certain dietary and medical needs which whenever I've visited I always assist and or singularly provide for her in her meals. With this experience I would say that I've become very responsible with dogs. I'm diligent about cleaning them, cleaning up after them, retaining meal schedules and dietary needs, as well as giving them lots of affection, attention, and exercise!
