Pet care experience
When you're away from your dog, you want the peace of mind that they are safe and happy -- and that's my #1 priority when caring for you dog! Aside from caring for dogs of my own, I've cared for and pet-sat for dogs of all types -- big, small, old, and young. While my background is in working with people as a social worker, I strongly believe the same principles apply when caring for a pet -- creating a safe space, establishing a good relationship, and fostering enjoyment and wellbeing. I'm happy to share pictures and videos of your dog while you're away, as well as send frequent updates as requested. My availability is on nights and weekends mostly, however I have flexibility in my work to leave during the day for dog walks and feeding.

Jeremy was tremendous as a house/dog sitter while we were away on a long vacation. He kept us in the loop throughout our trip by sending great photos and videos of our dog. He also followed the directions on key points such as meal times, potty breaks, and medicine requirements. When we returned home not only was our house in immaculate shape (he even washed and dried the linens), but more importantly we could tell that our dog had been lovingly taken care of. I would not hesitate to hire Jeremy again and would highly recommend him to anyone.

You're not the only one missing someone when you're away from your dog -- they miss you too! When caring for your dog, I want to make sure that they are well-entertained and looked after. Walks to their favorite park/route, chasing balls or playing with other dogs (if they're allowed to!), and a lot of companionship can go a long way in helping your dog feel at ease when you're away.
