Pet care experience
I've had a good amount of pets through my 20 years of life so far and I currently have a small pit bull/yorkie mix. Every time my neighbor goes out on vacation, he'll ask me to come by during the week and feed his dogs and goats making sure that they are taken care of.

My dog has his bed beside mine and I usually fill his bowl once a day and leave it out in case he gets hungry or thirsty. I'll let him outside off the leash since we have a pretty decently big yard and he'll stay near me whenever I walk out with him.

Feeding time is definitely something important to know about a dog. When we had more dogs around the house before, I'd always stick to a schedule so that any time I was at school or practice I wouldn't have to worry about the dogs making a mess. It would also be good to know any conditions the dog may have in case they may need medication. Whenever I had to feed my neighbors dogs, I found out that one of them needed to take medication in the morning and in the afternoon.
A typical day
My dog would usually come up to me whenever he is ready to go outside or whenever he wants to play around. I like to play catch with him and we'd usually play tug with one of his other toys. I live in Albemarle so there are a few parks around that I can play with a dog at like Chuck Morehead Park.

Availability
I'm currently on summer break from college so I have a bunch more free time than I have had recently. I will be taking an online class during the month of June that requires me to attend class each Wednesday and Thursday from 4:00-5:30 pm. I also have my 1 and a half year old nephew at home so I usually have to watch him throughout the week as well.
