Pet care experience
Full-time animal lover and full-time dog walker/best friend forever/sitter! I will treat your furry friend just as I treat mine, like family. Every pup I meet I form a connection with, even the ones that are shy. I have been living in Los Angeles with my fiancé and our two dogs for almost two years now. I have been dog walking since the very first day I arrived in Los Angeles. I have been enjoying it ever since and have made this my fulltime "job". I have formed family like connections with the dogs I walk and some of their owners. I have been referred to as "Auntie Jenny", and "his girlfriend" haha. I have been told things like "I finally feel comfortable enough to go on a vacation and be able to relax and rest easy knowing my dog is being taken care of and loved while away." I have been told I have helped a dog come out of her shell and that she seemed a little depressed before I came into her life. When I told my friends and family I was moving to Los Angeles they all asked me pretty much the same question; if I was going to be a dog walker/sitter or work at an animal sanctuary. Well I'm here to say I've chosen to follow my dreams of being a full-time dog walker/sitter!!! I have had plenty of prior experience as I have been dog sitting for about 10 years now, previously focusing mostly on boarding in my home. Given the change of location I am now focusing on check-ins, walks, and sitting in your home. I currently have two dogs and they are both very different from one another. My older pup Boots is a Pit Heeler and my younger pup Bumi (name inspired by Avatar the last Airbender) is quite the mutt, though she seems most like her beagle breed. Boots was quite the handful as a young lad so I like to think there's just about nothing I couldn't handle... haha. We call Bumi our angel though she is more accurately described as a sour patch kid LOL. I tell you these things because every dog has its quirks and it's nothing I can't handle. I really feel like I've seen it all. I would love to care for your furry family when you are unable to or even when you just need some time for yourself. I will love them and I will be sad to leave them. haha.

This Glowing review about Jenny is overdue and very deserving!! Jenny has been walking my Pitbull son, Loki, for a year now. She is such a caring and compassionate person who has always created a loving and safe space for my furry son when she walking him. She makes sure to take Amazing pictures of my son, keeps him safe, positively interacts with him and then gives him the Best belly rubs afterwards. Jenny is also very dependable which is pretty hard to find. I have always felt stress-free at work knowing that Jenny had my house keys and would take Great care of my furry son. I would always come home after work to a very calm and happy Loki. Jenny is an absolute rare find and I guarantee that she will create a loving and safe space for any animal who is in her care. You will not regret booking her!!

I like to gather as much information from the human prior to the walk or stay so I can get a feel for the dog even know I will spend the whole time analyzing your dogs every move to understand them. haha. I try to stick to the shade or unpaved paths as to not harm your pups feet. I will follow all rules that are relayed to me. I will leave your house clean and locked up.

Please tell me about your dogs behaviors before our session. I don't care if your dog pulls, humps, barks, or is aggressive with other dogs, tell me so I can be prepared!! This makes the experience better!
A typical day
I try to plan my walks ahead of time but also take into account the sun/weather when I arrive to your house. I try to fit in some basic obedience skills whether we are out on a walk or at home. I will provide your pup with the love and attention they deserve during their time with me.

Availability
I am a full-time dog walker and dog sitter. :) I try to keep my calendar as up to date as possible. I am available weekdays and weekends with enough notice! If I am free on the weekend and am able to help I definitely will!
