Pet care experience
I am a dog and animal lover at heart! I own a big white fluffy dog and cat who are my babies. I have always had a special connection with animals and genuinely enjoy caring for them and being in their presence. I’m the type of girl that will stop everything I’m doing to chase down a lost dog to help find it’s owner. I have experience with many breeds including more intensive & hyperactive breeds such as vizslas and German Shepard’s. My family so dearly values animals so I understand and value how precious yours are to you and will be sure to take care of him/her as my very own. I am big on direct, consistent, and open communication with pet owners. I will also make sure to take into consideration any specific needs your dog might have as I understand each personality and breed is different! I working part time at the moment so my schedule is pretty flexible. Thank you for entrusting me with your precious companion. I promise to give them as much fun, love, and comfort as I possibly can while you are gone 😊

Jenny is a great communicator! Sadly she became ill right before/during here scheduled sitting time with us but she was upfront and worked with us to find solutions. Her mother stepped in and helped out our pets when she could not. Her mother was great with our cat and dog, and Jenny sent us pictures and updates on walks, pee breaks, and meals. I really appreciate her not backing out on us the day before leaving town while also making sure that our fur babies were given good care. I would rebook with Jenny again. :)
Jenny has been a huge help to us with our golden retrievers. She has stayed at our house a number of times to watch them and each time done a great job and our dog Teddy was always very happy and well taken care of. She also has taken him on walks on a few occasions and is always responsive, on time, and we can always count on her. We will be continuing to use her services. Thank you!

Jenny took care of my 13 week old puppy, Winston, from 9am to 3pm each day. Jenny did a very good job of keeping Winston busy and happy while she was here. There did seem to be some miscommunication about the flexibility of her hours each day. I was told they would have to be modified to allow a 20 minute break but that time would be “made-up” at the beginning or ending of her day. This happened to work ok for me but wasn’t ideal or what we had agreed upon. My major complaint is with Rover for Jenny’s contract lasting only 7 days when I requested 9/2-9/9 which is 8 days!!! So She wasn’t contracted for the 9th and I was left with no help. This was extremely inconvenient. I’ll never use Rover again.

Beyond the basic safety measures I will check with each owner to make sure I follow all protocols to keep the animals safe and happy. I will absolutely go out of my way to make sure I adopt any special routines and protocols. I understand how dogs can have very particular needs and routines and will make sure I am made aware of those things! I am very well experienced with separation anxiety and can administer medication if needed. I always pay a great deal of attention to animals while they are in my care and check for any signs of danger or abnormal behaviors.

I’d love to know firstly if they have any medical issues or conditions and any special treatment or medications that are needed. I’d also love to know they’re daily habits like what they eat, how much they eat, treats, where they sleep, and other things like walks, exercise, etc. Any information on their personality is great so I can get an idea of normal / baseline behaviors for them.
A typical day
I think this totally depends on the dog’s schedule, age, personality, other factors, but whether it be walks, hanging out together, snuggles and pets, or running around like crazy to get zoomies out, I’m happy to do it all!
