My family got our first dog when I was in 3rd grade (a chocolate lab named Gus). Since then, I've loved being around dogs, so when I started working it made sense that I would work for a veterinary clinic. I worked in the kennels from April 2014 to August 2015, feeding and walking the dogs, giving them their medication, and of course, giving them lots of petting! The summer after that I worked at the same veterinary clinic again as a receptionist, so I was still able to be around a lot of dogs! Now, one of my favorite parts of coming home from school at Ohio State is seeing my dog Mylo's beautifully furry tail wagging right when I get through the door!
