Hi fur babies!
Pet care experience
I've enjoyed the company of all animals for most of my life. I'm a lover of dogs, and I miss my golden retriever. I visit dog parks to hang with the pack. The neighborhood dogs visit my home frequently, wish they could stay over. For the last 10 years Auntie Jenny has been taking care of my friend's fur babies in their home. I am allergic to cats, but still willing to house sit, even though they wrap themselves around my head. Also have volunteered with Early Alert Canines to help train medical service animals.

Jenny is amazing. Our dog loves her. We are both ill with Covid and Jenny kept the dog longer since we don’t feel well.
Jenny was great! The boys were wonderfully exhausted and Merle got to roll in Bear scat... he's used to rolling dead sea lions at home so that was a treat... for him. ? Will use her again next time we're in the mountains and will recommend her to our friends.

What level of training do they have? Any special needs? Do they have separation anxiety? How are they with other dogs? Are they trained to walk with a leash and heel appropriately?
A typical day
A typical day will depend on the animal (can't exclude the cats). If they like to play, I have toys. Location of walks will depend on the dog: the neighborhood, bike paths, trails, or a serious hike. I always carry water and a portable dog bowl. Plenty of swimming in Lake Tahoe if they enjoy the water. Snow shoe or cross country adventures are always fun too!

Availability
I work full time as an RN in Truckee during the week. Long hours with a short lunch break. If I'm available during the weekend, I would love to spend time with your animals.
