Pet care experience
I have 8 years of experience fostering dogs and have been pet sitting for the past 7 years for fun - my heart is so full from all the wonderful cats, dogs, and birds that I’ve met! I volunteered as a dog socializer at San Jose Animal Control Center, walking the newest additions to the shelter and training them with basic things like how to be good on & off leash, sit, down, clicker training, etc, so they become more adoptable. Because of this I especially love working with rescues! <3 I grew up with cats & dogs, and have owned a jack russell terrier, a bichon mix, and a husky! I travel too much to have a pet of my own :( So tending to plants and pet sitting will have to do for now! Hope to meet your furry friend(s) soon!

Jenny and Mark were amazing with our pup. We were nervous about leaving her for so long while we were on vacation, but Jenny and Mark gave her all the walks and attention she needed. They were great about following feeding instructions as well as being extra careful after our dog sprained her leg (not in their care). We eagerly looked forward to the pictures and adorable updates they sent each day. I recommend them without hesitation and would book them again anytime we need a dogsitter.

Jenny took great care of our dog. He is a rescue who suffers from separation anxiety and she was very intuitive, sympathetic and attentive to his needs. Would definitely recommend her!

We would like to know if your dog is crate trained, how they behave on leash, around other dogs/kids on walks, if they have any behavioral traits - the more information the better. We do not discriminate against dogs for their breed or needs but want to be able to provide the best care possible for your friend, so please take the time to think about this and communicate. We have found that over-communicating is better than the opposite :)

Availability
I quit my job recently to focus on volunteering and giving back to the community, so my schedule is very flexible. My partner works from home and also loves helping care for furry friends. I have a great amount of energy that we can cater to your pet’s needs :)
