Growing up I've always been an animal lover, but never had a pet of my own. When I was in high school, a family member adopted a cat and that's when I began my journey to "The Crazy Cat Lady." Over the past 7 years, I went from doing drop-in visits for families and friends and consistently visiting animal shelters to becoming a foster parent and caring for cats and dogs in my home! I've had 15 fosters so far, with the majority being cats. What I enjoy the most about fostering is that I adore every animal's unique personality, and I do so by giving them respect and patience to be whoever they are. I have experience in fostering cats of various ages, sizes, medical condition/disabilities, temper, and preferences. I've fostered cats who were considered as "difficult," "behavioral," or "scared," and I find it very rewarding to see how they've changed and showed their true personality as we bond. I am available for drop-in visits for dogs as well (I love them too!), although strictly speaking I have relatively limited experience in dog care. But I have fostered dogs before and know what to do to keep them happy!
