Pet care experience
I am a Dogtec certified professional dog walker,former PAWS volunteer and fellow pet owner. I am experienced with a wide variety of dog breeds and temperaments at various life stages. Why I love dog sitting It all began with a hamster named Dog. Since then, there has always been an animal friend in my life including dogs, cats - even a merry band of turtles! I began as the go-to pet sitter for friends, co-workers and employers. Eventually, I made the leap into full time, professional pet care in 2014. The training path I have chosen is science-based, rooted in learning theory and animal behavior. I find this work to be fascinating and deeply rewarding! Meet my pets Frank is our lab mix. We provide a calm but active environment, and adhere to a daily routine that includes walks and free play. Playgroups are small, supervised and limited up to 5 dogs. Each dog is vetted for temperament. I do not take dogs to the dog park.

Any and all information is helpful- the good, the bad and the ugly. Trust me, I've heard it all, and your worst story will help me provide the best care. As we get started, I will need to know the following: * Basic description of your dog's personality (likes, dislikes) * How long has your dog lived with your family? * Any puppy classes or obedience training? * How often does your dog get to play with other dogs? *How would you describe your dog's play style? * Is your dog neutered/spayed? * Is your dog up to date on their vaccinations and flea prevention? * Does your dog have any special needs? * Is your dog fully house/potty trained? * Does your dog experience any separation anxiety?
 * What is your dog's energy level: active, moderate, medium, or mellow? * How will your dog react when encountering other dogs during walks? * Does your dog have any behavioral issues or concerns (for example: barking, resource-guarding, anxiety, scent-marking)? If so, how are they dealt with?
A typical day
We have 2 neighborhood walks scheduled each day, in the morning and afternoon. The routes vary in distance (1 mile, 2.5, 3.5 miles) and are alternated each throughout the day. We will do urban walks around the neighborhood and will often head across the pedestrian bridge to take in the sights and scents of the Everett Marina. On weekends leashed hikes on nature trails throughout the PNW are also offered, with your consent. At night we like to settle in early with a good movie and cuddle time. We also incorporate basic skills training into our playtime to keep your pups manners up to snuff!

Your dogs are my mission! I am here full time, with the intent to create an active, homelike atmosphere during their stay. As a full time dog walker and pet sitter, your pet will receive lots of love and attention during their stay here, whether you are looking for someone to keep your pooch company while you are away at work or planning your next vacation. I keep a lightly structured daily routine for the group, with lots of flexibility to attend to any individual needs your pet may have.
