Scooter couldn't be happier than when he is at his home-away-from-home place with Jenny. She loves him like he's her own, which Scooter and I both appreciate.

I am a Dogtec certified professional dog walker, PAWS volunteer and fellow pet owner. I am experienced with a wide variety of dog breeds and temperaments at various life stages.

What Jenny would like to know about your dog

Any and all information is helpful- the good, the bad and the ugly. As we get started, I will need to know the following:

* Basic description of your dog's personality (likes, dislikes)
* How long has your dog lived with your family?
* Any puppy classes or obedience training?
* How often does your dog get to play with other dogs?
*How would you describe your dog's play style?
* Is your dog neutered/spayed?
* Is your dog up to date on their vaccinations and flea prevention?
* Does your dog have any special needs?
* Is your dog fully house/potty trained?
* Does your dog experience any separation anxiety?

* What is your dog's energy level: active, moderate, medium, or mellow?
* How will your dog react when encountering other dogs during walks?
* Does your dog have any behavioral issues or concerns (for example: barking, resource-guarding, anxiety, scent-marking)? If so, how are they dealt with?

When Jenny watches your pet

Here's where we'll take our walks
We have 2 neighborhood walks scheduled each day, in the morning and afternoon. The routes vary in distance (1 mile, 2.5, 3.5 miles) and are alternated each throughout the day.
Weekend hikes on nature trails throughout the PNW are also offered

Your dog's sleeping arrangement
There is enough comfortable space in our home that we often allow the sleeping arrangements develop organically for dogs who prefer to crash out on their own beds.
For dogs who like to sleep in crates, we have a cozy set up in our sun room which is heated in the winter and well ventilated in the summer

Time I'll spend with your dog
Your dogs are my mission! I am here full time, with the intent to create an active, homelike atmosphere during their stay. I can guarantee a minimum of 12 hours worth of human interaction each day- sometimes even the full 16 waking hours. However, there will be occasions where I need to step out for an hour or two.
