Pet care experience
I'm 58 and have rarely NOT had a dog or cat in my life. Other's furry family members and strays mean just as much to me as my own - I can think of 20 times right off the bat where I've rescued, trapped, helped and sat for other's animals.

Jenny is wonderful pet sitter. I have two cats and Jenny was wonderfully caring and attentive. She not only makes sure my pets are fed and well cared for, she also takes care of them like I would. She plays with them and make sure they feel safe. She even stayed in my home a couple of times so they didn't have to be alone as long. Highly recommend!

My mother's yard is fenced for Pekingese-sized containment with doggie door. There is also a doggie door to the garage with its many pee pads since Rusty was an abused rescue and does not prefer grass. Neighborhood dog walks or light runs would be welcome. And I haven't yet committed to fostering a cat so I would be very happy to "borrow" yours. Some antique furniture legs might not get along so well with puppies that are still "chewy." PS not quite sure how to adjust pricing, but cats at my home for two or more days would be under half price!

Availability
I'm living with and providing help for my 85-year-old homebound mother during the pandemic while also taking an online grad class at VT so I am home a lot and would love the extra company. (My mom has a senior Pekingese that would also enjoy the playdates.) Warning though: If I were to sit at your home, I would need to leave and check in here a couple hours per day.
