Pet care experience
I grew up around pets and proudly became a dog mom over 15 years ago. I have cared for puppies, senior dogs, and all ages in between. My current pup had severe separation anxiety when I adopted her, and our training to overcome that made me keenly aware of just how important it is to keep your pet comfortable when you are away. That said, I’ll be sure to go the extra mile in ensuring your pet is cared for and at ease. My goal is to be your pet's new second best friend (behind you, of course)! I recognize the importance of sharing regular updates and will be sure to pass along ample pictures.

Jenny is an amazing friend for our dog Chance! She always arrives on scheduled time and goes above and beyond during their walks. She spends the full duration of the scheduled walk being active, showing him love, and making sure he is safe before leaving. We will be using Jenny for all of our weekly walking needs. I highly recommend her!

How does your pet react to strangers entering the home? If there is any potential for aggressive behavior, I'm happy to set up a meet and greet beforehand. Is your dog leash reactive? On walks, I'll try to avoid any triggers that he/she may have. Anything else? I trust that you'll tell me important details about diet, medications, or special routines!
A typical day
I stay very active in my life, and I'll make sure your pet gets to do the same. Whether it's indoor tug-of-war or getting some fresh air, I'll be sure your pet stays entertained. Is your dog a runner? Great - me too! Let me know if this is your pet's preferred outdoor exercise. Once your pet gets his/her energy out, I'm also there to provide plenty of pets and cuddles.

I work in the healthcare industry but am currently in between jobs; I have a flexible schedule, am available most days, and can likely accommodate short notice (within a couple hours) requests for walks and drop-in visits.
