Pet care experience
I had been a foster mama for 16 rescue dogs of all sizes and breeds, including puppies, along with having my own dogs. I have learned overtime that each pup has its own specific needs, personality, boundaries and quirks! I immersed myself in general dog training, to include potty training and crate training as well as educating myself on dogs body language to better understand and care for each dog. I pride myself on learning as much as possible. I am not an accredited trainer, just someone who has a love for dogs. Safety is and will always be my #1 priority. Jenny came to my home to care for my 2 cats while I was on vacation. She did a wonderful job, spent time with them both, and texted me an update to let me know how they were doing. She’s fantastic and I would highly recommend her and will be using her again in the future.

I have a new 6ft privacy fence for my dogs. I have 3 very playful dogs of my own. I do have 4 kids, ranging from 10-19 so if you board your pup in my home, your dog needs to be kid friendly 😁. My kids absolutely love dogs.

If your pup has any "quirks", I'd love to know ahead of time. That can include behavioral, special needs etc. This will not deter me from helping with your dog, but will help me set up a game plan ahead of time so your pup has a positive experience.
A typical day
Since I am home most of the time, I start the day spending time with my dogs in the backyard playing. Daily walks for your pups along with field trips, like getting pup cups, walking at Chestnut Ridge and bringing them places it is dog friendly will help with both physical and mental stimulation! I like to use puzzles and games to stimulate them mentally as well. Dog pool and sprinkler for those hot days and baths on those muddy days! A tired dog is a happy dog!

I am home most days unless I have appointments to go to, in which I'm not gone for extended periods of time. Plenty of time for pet care!
