I grew up with dogs (Springer Spaniels) and love them. I have taken care of Mandy, Jerry, and Elmo as I grew up. I want my own dog but haven't taken the plunge yet, because I know it's a lot of work, and want to make sure I can properly care for them all the time. I love my dog nephews and my parents' dog; I know the dogs in my apartment complex by name but not the owners. I work a lot during the week at odd hours so I would be more interested in taking care of a dog during the weekend. I like their company and hanging out with them. I would be happy to take them hiking or on little adventures.
