Pet care experience
I grew up with 2 Great Pyrenees- one who I trained and showed in 4H Dog club. I regularly watch my sister’s labradoodle and a family friend’s black lab. The lab is not properly leash trained so I have experience with crazy pulling. The labradoodle has allergies and recently had surgery so I also have experience giving oral medication to dogs. I have frequently been approached by dogs who normally don’t come near people with their owners stating I just give off good vibes, but I think the dogs can just tell how excited I am to meet them :) I don’t have many photos of me with them but I have lots of photos of them, if you’d like to see them just let me know!

Jenny absolutely loves animals and they love her. My dog Zena can’t get enough of Jenny everytime she sees her. She is very responsible and just loves dedicating her time to dogs. She will be an amazing dog walker/sitter and I highly recommend her.
Jenny has taken care of our dog and cat at various times for the past several years but I have known her for much longer than that. She is a responsible, reliable and caring individual. She has helped us with coming to walk the dog as needed but has also stayed at our house on several occasions from one night to over 10 days. She keeps me posted on how the animals are doing, texts if she has questions and has, on occasion, stayed longer than originally expected because of delays on our end. She's terrific with our animals and someone I know I can count on to do what she commits to.

I am not able to have pets in my apartment so I am only able to do out of home care. If I needed to bring them by for a few minutes, I do have an outdoor space I can walk them around with a leash.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or behaviors and how they are usually addressed or handled. I have no problem with dealing with these types of things but just want to be prepared ahead of time.
A typical day
We will enjoy the wonderful outdoors and have a great time exploring Fort Wayne and all the trails, parks, and neighborhoods it has to offer!

Availability
I am currently a full time grad student but our classes are spaced out so I am able to walk/take care of pets in between. I also take atleast 1 long walk a day on my own and have no problem bringing a dog with me. I am always able to adjust my personal schedule outside of school to ensure any pets I am watching get the best care they deserve. The availability in the app is very broad but I have some hours in the broad ranges, just may not be available for the full “11-3” etc
